Rainmaker is not only Ben Sidran’s new jazz and blues album, it’s also a survival manual for today’s modern world. The original idea for Rainmaker was to throw a party in a Paris recording studio in honor of the Ben Sidran 80th birthday. Ben Sidran saw it as a way to celebrate the survival of many things, including himself, a life without borders, and his friendship with so many musicians abroad.
