El Elefante
Baby Boom Music first released “El Elefante” as part of their children’s series; they had contacted me about doing a record with Leo and we came up with the idea of making a bi-lingual (Leo is fluent in Spanish), totally grooved collection of ten songs, five by Leo and five by me; we have often been surprised by small children coming up to us and singing the lyrics of “I Wanna Grow Up and Be Like A Tree” or “Goosy Galpa”. We also played a gig at the Mall of America where the opening act was the Tooth Fairy.
